The outpatient department has general OPD managed by medical officers and specialist. There are scheduled visits of specialist consultants which includes ENT surgeon, Ophthalmologists, Dentists, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Nutritionist and Dermatologist. The specialist OPD rooms are upgraded for early diagnosis and initiation of treatment.
The Health Centre has in-patient facilities for minor ailments. Patients in the IPD receive 24/7 professional nursing care,
including the administration of intravenous (IV) fluids, injectable medications, and regular monitoring of vital signs.
Observation/Day Care Services: This facility supports observation/day care admissions for procedures or treatments that
allow patients to be discharged within the same day once stabilized. It is also for the patients, who are not critical enough for
hospital transfer but require professional monitoring beyond an OPD consultation as advised by doctor.
Pediatric vaccinations are available at the IITI Health Centre as per Universal Immunization Program of Government of India.

Q) Do we need the advice of a pediatrician before vaccination?
A) Yes, it is better to seek the advice of a pediatrician. The pediatrician may provide
appropriate advice, including any specific considerations related to the child's health.
Q) What is the procedure for pediatric vaccination?
Please send an email to pharmacy@iiti.ac.in at least 4 to 5 days in advance of your
child’s scheduled vaccination.
Please attach a copy of the vaccination card or pediatrician’s prescription/advice with
the email.
The advance intimation will enable the Pharmacy to arrange the prescribed vaccine at
the Health Centre in time.
Q) Why is it required to share the copy of vaccination card?
The vaccination card helps the Health Centre verify the child's vaccination history,
identify vaccines that are due or have been missed, and ensure that the appropriate
vaccines are administered according to the child's age and vaccination schedule. It
also helps avoid duplication or omission of vaccines.
Q) Do I need to bring any document during the vaccination schedule?
Please bring the child's original vaccination card on the day of vaccination.
The nursing staff/doctor administering the vaccine will record the name of the vaccine
and date of administration on the vaccination card. Maintaining an updated
vaccination card will be useful for the child's future healthcare and vaccination
requirements.
Ambulance services are available 24 x 7 for emergency medical and trauma emergency cases. The Health Centre has one basic ambulance and one advanced life support ambulance.
The Emergency room is open 24x7. Medical team comprising of doctors and paramedical staff provides dedicated services for management of acute emergency and trauma cases. Minor cases are managed at the Institute Health Centre. The patients requiring further evaluation and treatment are referred to higher medical centres in Indore city.
Health Centre has in-house diagnostic laboratory. It is outsourced service and the in-house facility supports timely decision making for doctors based on evaluation reports. Timings 8.00 am to 4.00 pm
